New Year’s Resolution

WORDS OF WISDOM:

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

SCRIPTURE:

JEREMIAH 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

MORNING PRAYER:

Father, I thank you on this FRIDAY MORNING. Thank you for waking me up this morning. I’m so thankful for life, health, peace of mind, mercy, grace and the favor that you show me everyday in small things. Show me what you want me to do today to show your love and amazing power and glory. Father, I’m asking you to continue to give me guidance, wisdom, knowledge, clarity, understanding and peace. Keep us the rest of this weekend, Father, out of harms way, from unseen danger. Surround us with love and the peace of GOD. Father, we thank you for watching over us and for providing for us. Father, I’m so grateful and thankful for everything you have done and everything that you will and continuously do in me and for my family, friends and love ones. I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I pray for open doors. LORD, I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are incarcerated and dealing with this deadly virus that keeps coming back. Father, keep us safe and protect the vulnerable ones that can easy contact this virus. Give us wisdom, LORD and protect us. I pray for the nation and the peace of Israel and Jerusalem. I pray for this nation and for our government. I pray for the mental health and for deliverance from all addictions. Father GOD, I ask you to please guide us on the right path with clear direction. Help us to pray and extend our love and compassion towards others through this season of testing and trying times. I’m so grateful for your grace, mercy and your unconditional love. I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen.

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father, this morning is the last day of this year and tonight at midnight it will be a new year, a new beginning. Today is the end of another year and if you are anything like me, you too, have begun making a list of changes you want to implement in the coming months. There is something refreshing about the start of a new year. January brings with it an intrinsic motivation and newfound inspiration to re-establish healthy habits and set new goals. In looking back over the past 12 months, we often gain perspective on the reality of our progress and for much-needed improvements. Desiring to reignite our spiritual fervor and reprioritize our religious values, we may decide to return to church, choose a Bible reading plan, and make prayer a daily practice. Yet oftentimes, these well-intended resolutions give way to repeated discouragement when we fail to remain consistent with our plans to develop new depth in our spiritual disciplines. In many ways, the mindset of making such New Year’s resolutions can create an unrealistic expectation and even promote a legalist perspective on our soul’s condition. We begin to doubt our devotion and perhaps even fear that God is disappointed. So how do we begin to make changes to pursue God with passion and purpose, without falling into a state of shame or becoming sidetracked by unbiblical assumptions? If you have experienced the frustration of struggling with sustaining spiritual resolutions, you are certainly not alone. I pray that we can resolve to deepen our relationship with our heavenly Father, to re-experience the abundance that Christ offers in his love  and to keep our minds on GOD'S plan and purpose for our lives . Father, I thank you for all you have for me this NEW YEAR and NEW BEGINNINGS. It's in JESUS name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½ Amen.

SCRIPTURE:

ISAIAH 43:19

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. I will do.

GOOD MORNING, Family, Friends and  Love Ones. Have a blessed day and remember NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNINGS!

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father GOD, this morning I’m reflecting over this year.  It's been a trying and testing year Father for a lot of us.  Life has hit us hard. A lot of us have had one struggle after the other. One situation after the next. Many are grieving the loss of a loved one. Others have experienced the pain of divorce or broken relationships. Some have lost jobs. Many are facing huge debts. Others are hurting for children or family members who seemed to have lost their way. Some are facing new diagnoses and health issues. Others are still waiting for answered prayers concerning this virus that keeps resurfacing. It may feel like to some that GOD has somehow forgotten about us. Many may be surrounded by people, yet lonely inside, struggling through depression and darkness, battling worry, facing big fears, feeling lost in a sea of doubt, wondering if GOD even sees or cares. He does see. He does care. I know you are my Father and you are there and will never leave me nor forsake me. I’m just asking for a renewed strength and a faith boost this morning to keep pressing on, no matter what, knowing that all things are working for my good, even when I don’t understand them. I want to thank you for always being here even when I can’t feel you. Thank you that you see us right where we are, in the midst of our pain and struggle, in the middle of our situation. Thank you that you have not forgotten us and never will. Forgive us for not trusting you, for doubting your goodness or not believing you’re really there. We choose to set our eyes on you today. We choose joy and peace. Especially when the whispered lies come and say that we should have no joy or peace. Father, Thank you that you care for us and your love for us is so amazing. I confess my need for you. Fill me with a fresh anointing of your Spirit. Renew my heart and mind in your truth. I'm asking for your hope and comfort to continue to heal my heart where there has been brokenness. Father, give me the courage to face another day, knowing that with you before me and behind me, I have nothing to fear. It in JESUS Name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½ Amen.

SCRIPTURE:

JOHN 14:16-17

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

GOOD MORNING, Family, Friends and Love Ones. Have a blessed day and remember GOD is there!

I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen.

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father, this morning I submit my thoughts and old habits to you. We’ve all felt at times that we can’t change a certain habit or a weakness in our lives. We often feel "confined" by whatever has previously "defined" us. But, as we change our mindsets regarding WHO we are and what God has given us, ANYTHING can change. Today a new hope is birthed in me.  God has given me the gift to change. My habits, emotions, and life will change by changing the way I think. I submit to the process of renewing my mind and I expect divine progress. I refuse to accept past definitions and limitations of myself. As I embrace God’s view of me, through His Word, I am being changed into His image. His grace empowers us to change, to break habits, or to be free from our past. Just receive it today, in JESUS Name I pray, Amen πŸ™πŸ½

SCRIPTURE:

Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

GOOD MORNING,  Family, Friends and Love Ones. Have a blessed day and remember, if you change your Mindset, you can change your life!

I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen.

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father, I’m so thankful and blessed to know that you are my Father, even though my earthly father is not here. I rest in the full assurance that you are my DADDY and you got my back, front and side. You care about my every situation and you want to cover me and protect me as a father would do for their child. There is no greater joy in life than to know that God is our loving Father, yet many people, including those within the Church, have not experienced this unspeakable joy. Many have been wounded by their earthly fathers and as a result, project their own experience of fatherhood onto God the Father. They then create God in their earthly father’s image—seeing God as an absent or abandoning parent. Others have a picture of God as a distant and vengeful Father. None of this is an accurate representation of the picture of our Father and LORD and Savior, JESUS Christ . JESUS came to reveal the marvelous love of the Father. Yes, God is King. Yes, God is Lord. Yes, God is a Judge. Yes, He is the Great I Am. But pre-eminently, He is the Father who loves us so deeply that He sent His one and only Son to die for us. JESUS  is the answer. He came into this world to die for our sins and adopt us into the Father’s family on earth. Now we can call God “Father" and He loves us and watches over us just as a father would. At times when I feel like I don’t know what to do or need advice, I would start to feel like, who do I go to when I need fatherly advice or comfort? I want to thank you for reminding me that you are my father and you are always there. Now we can call God “our Father” and rest in His arms of love, grace, mercy, and protection. Now that we know that GOD is our Father, then what does that make us? If we choose to follow His Son, Jesus Christ, it makes us His sons and daughters. This is the greatest joy of all—to know that God is the Father we’ve all been waiting for, and to revel in the privilege of being His sons and daughters, that He loves us and cares for us. Father, I thank You that You’ve called me to be Your child, Your daughter. Help me to build my identity on this wonderful honor. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

SCRIPTURE:

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

MORNING PRAYER:
Father, I thank you on this MONDAY MORNING. Thank you for waking me up this morning. I’m so thankful for life, health, peace of mind, your mercy, grace and the favor that you show me everyday in small things. Show me what you want me to do today to show your love and amazing power and glory. Father, I’m asking you to continue to give me guidance, wisdom, knowledge, clarity, understanding and peace. Keep us the rest of this weekend, Father, out of harms way  from unseen danger. Surround us with love and the peace of GOD. Father, we thank you for watching over us and for providing for us. Help us not to take life for granted nor those that are in our life for granted. Life is too short. Teach us to celebrate those we love that are still here with us now. Father, help us to show those we love that we love them by making a phone call, sending a text, sending them a card or if possible, going to see them. I pray for those that are incarcerated and dealing with this deadly virus.  I know you have spoken of these times in the word but give us wisdom, LORD, and protect us. I’m so grateful for your grace, mercy and your unconditional love. I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen.

MY REFLECTIONS:
Father this morning I’m asking you to help me stay connected. No matter what, keep me connected to the word and to you, Father . I must stay connected when there’s a disconnect. There are times when things can get so busy and moving so fast that I can get a little distracted and lose focus, but I must stay connected. I pray Father that You direct my steps and make clear what You will have me to do with each minute of the day. Father guide me on the path that you have for me. There are times I wake up and just jump to a task of things to do. A full list of "I got to do this or that" without first consulting you, without taking a minute  to ask You to order my steps to guild me in the right direction. On this day, bless me with clarity to hear your instructions and the discipline to commit to the assignment. I know there can be peace through the process when I stay connected to you and do things the way You ask me to. When I surrender to your will, my purpose and destiny has already been written by You so I can surrender all to you and trust the process and what You’re doing through me and in me. No matter the circumstance or situation I just have to stay connected to you and know that all things are working for my good. Father, I thank you this morning for reminding me that I must stay  connected to you no matter what. It’s in JESUS name I give you praise! Amen πŸ™πŸ½

SCRIPTURE:

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father this morning I’m thankful that you keep me humble and to know where my help comes from. It’s from you LORD. The maker of Heaven and Earth. Father, I’m so humble. I realize that by myself I can do nothing, but with you GOD,I can do all things. And all things become possible because when I’m connected to you, Father, my ever accomplishments are your accomplishments. All my victories are your victories. Every battle won is a battle that you have won with me or for me. For I pray you keep me humble and to know who deserves the Praise, the Honor and Gratitude for every blessing and miracle that happens in my life. Keep me wise enough to recognize your grace working in my life and not take credit for it myself. Pride limits me and you said in your word that pride comes before a great fall . Father live in me so big that I will always realize that it is never me that can do this, only GOD. I know that in you Father, there is an unlimited access to the promises of the kingdom.  Father, may I humbly remain always your humble and faithful servant. It's in JESUS name I pray,πŸ™πŸ½ Amen.

Father, I’m so grateful and thankful for everything you have done and everything that you will and continuously do in me and for my family, friends and love ones. Father, I ask that you give us the understanding of the season for Christmas. It’s not about gifts, but the giver of the gift of life.  I know that it’s about Love and about JESUS. I’m so grateful for your grace, mercy and your unconditional love. I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen πŸ™πŸ½

MY REFLECTIONS:

Christmas is a time of spiritual reflection on the important foundations of the Christian faith. It’s also a celebration. It’s when Christians celebrate GOD'S love for the world through the birth of the Christ child: Jesus. The Bible tells of his birth hundreds of years before, fulfilling prophecies. The Christmas story is recorded in Luke 2 -4: 19. It's that time of year again. December, 25  has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinners with family and friends, snow in the yard, stockings hanging in the living room, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?

We think that's just a part of it, embodied in a definition of the "the true meaning of Christmas," To give up one's very self to think only of others how to bring the greatest happiness to others. That is the true meaning of Christmas."

Sure, the giving of gifts gives us joy, but this should only be a small part of the meaning we find in Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is love. John 3:16-17 says, "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For GOD did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of this incredible act of love. The real Christmas story is the story of GOD becoming a human being in the Person of JESUS Christ. Why did GOD  do such a thing? Because He loves us! Why was Christmas necessary? Because we needed a Savior! Why does GOD love us so much? Because He is love itself (1 John 4:8). Why do we celebrate Christmas each year? Out of gratitude for what GOD did for us, we remember His birth by giving each other gifts, worshipping Him, and being especially conscious of the poor and less fortunate. GOD loved His own and provided a way, the only Way for us to spend eternity with Him. He gave His only Son to take our punishment for our sins. He paid the price in full, and we are free from condemnation when we accept that free gift of love. "But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." With this in mind, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. Sure, enjoy the season but remember to rejoice as well! After all, the true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of God's ultimate gift: the birth of Jesus, the Christ child!

SCRIPTURE:

MATTHEW 1:21

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.

ISAIAH 7:14

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”

 WORDS OF WISDOM:

SCRIPTURE:

NEHEMIAH 8:10

Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.

MORNING PRAYER:

Father, I thank you on this FRIDAY MORNING. Thank you for waking me up this morning. Show me what you want me to do today to show your love and amazing power today. Father, I’m  asking you to continue to give us guidance, wisdom, knowledge, clarity, understanding  and peace. Keep us this weekend, Father, out of harms way, from unseen danger and from the spirit of discord. We thank you for watching over us and for providing for us. Help us not to take life for granted nor those that are in our life for granted. Life is too short. Help us to celebrate those we love that are still here with us today.  Help us to show those we love that we love them by making a phone call, sending a text, sending them a card or if possible, by going to visit them. Father, I’m so grateful and thankful for everything you have done and everything that you will and continuously do in me and for my family, friends and love ones. Father, I ask that you allow us to understand the season and reason for Christmas. It’s not about gifts, but the giver of the gift of life.  I know that it’s about Love and about JESUS. I pray for those that are incarcerated and dealing with this deadly virus.  I know you have spoken of these times in the word, but give us wisdom, LORD and protect us. I pray for the nation and the peace of Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. I pray for the mental health and for deliverance from all addictions. I’m so grateful for your grace, mercy and your unconditional love. I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen πŸ™πŸ½

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father, this morning I ask for wisdom to walk in my Kingdom Authority. I ask that you continue to give me JOY down on the inside of my soul and to have JOY no matter what. The JOY of the LORD is our strength and the enemy knows it. He knows that if he can get you down and discouraged before long you’ll be weak and feeble and he’ll be able to easily defeat you. When you are full of joy and have a good attitude you will keep yourself strong. A positive attitude of faith paves the way for God to work miracles in your life. It also paves the way for God to turn your situation around. Decide today to have a good attitude, to keep yourself full of joy and meditate on the goodness and the promises of GOD and the blessings of GOD. Don’t let the cares of this life get you down. Don't get depressed or stressed out because you don’t have the finances to get all the gifts you want, you won't have the Christmas that you had in mind or what the world says that we should have. It's about the joy of the Lord and the celebration of life and family. Just be a blessing to someone's life today and this weekend. Father thank you for filling my life with JOY and it’s in JESUS name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½ Amen.

I got the Power!

WORDS OF WISDOM:

I GOT THE POWER

SCRIPTURE:

JOHN 14:26

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said.

ACTS: 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

MORNING PRAYER:

Father, I thank you on this Thursday morning. Thank you for waking me up this morning. I ask for wisdom to fight every battle. Show me how walk in love. Father, I’m asking you to continue to give us guidance, wisdom, revelation, clarity, understanding and peace. Keep us this week, Father, out of harm's way, from unseen danger and from the spirit of discord. We thank you for watching over us and for providing for us. Help us not to take life for granted, nor those that are in our life for granted. Life is too short. We celebrate those we love while they are still here with us. We don’t want to wait until they are gone and then have a "I wish I would’ve, should’ve moment" or regret. Today, we will show love ❤️. I’m so grateful and thankful for everything you have done and everything that you will and continuously do in me and my family, friends and love ones. Father, I ask this morning for prayer for my Auntie Juanita, Auntie Dot and Uncle Clinton. We will be burying my Aunt Rose and celebrating her life today. LORD, help my family to deal with so many losses and pain. December is not a good month for me. Those that know me, know I lost my mom two weeks before Christmas. So up until now, I never really even wanted to celebrate Christmas but I know that it’s about love, it’s about JESUS, it’s about life and it’s about celebrating those that I still have here. So for that, I’m blessed and grateful. I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father I pray for those that don’t have health insurance. I pray for those that don’t have the means to take care of their families. I’m praying that you send resources and financial blessings.  Open doors LORD. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for this deadly virus that was created and now is out of control. I know you have spoken of these times in the word but give us wisdom LORD and protect us. We pray for those that are in foreign countries that don’t even have clean water to drink and no food. I pray for the nation and the peace of Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. I pray for the President and Government that they make rules and decisions that can either help or hurt this nation. I pray for the mental health and for deliverance from all addictions. Father GOD, I would like you to move on my brother's behalf and heal him from any sign of cancer that he been diagnosed with. I want to lift up Wendy Williams, the talk show host. You are a healer. Please guide us on the right path with clear direction. And help us to pray and extend our love and compassion towards others through this season of testing and trying times. I’m so grateful for your grace, mercy and your unconditional love. I love you Father. We pray this in JESUS name, Amen πŸ™πŸ½.

MY REFLECTIONS:

Father, this morning I ask for wisdom to walk in my Kingdom Authority and to know the power that I have on the inside of me. I know I have the holy spirit so I have super powers to move things out my way and to change situations. We just have to be willing to invite Your presence into our hearts and our homes so we can be transformed. This is such a powerful and profound truth and yet how many times do we try to live our own way and force a life to work without him to work for us? Without him we are nothing and besides him we can do nothing. But with him, we can do all things and anything. For greater is He in us than he that is in the world and with Christ, we can do all things and all things are possible to them that believe. Father, I pray you will always be the biggest part of my life and that your presence will always guide me.  I pray that you would always lead me on the path you have pre-ordained for me. JESUS, I want to wait on you, no matter how long it may seem that the promises  may take. I want to wait patiently just as the disciples  did for your power to come upon them on the day of Pentecost, in the upper room. They waited prayerfully for the promise. The Spirit was poured out in an amazing way because of the promises of God's presence and power. That power is within us  by his Spirit, which is a gift of the Holy Ghost.  All who belong to Christ and has been baptized in the name of JESUS has the seal of GOD'S Spirit working in their lives and are called daily to follow his direction and leading. He will lead you and guide you into all truth. This is our secret Power. I thank you JESUS for the Holy Spirit and the power that I have because of it. It’s in JESUS name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½. Amen.

SCRIPTURE:

JOEL 2:28

GOOD MORNING, Family, Friends and Love Ones. Have a blessed day and remember that you have the power of the Holy Spirit inside of you!

 WORDS OF WISDOM:

JESUS IS THE REASON

SCRIPTURE:

Isaiah 9:6 - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. John 1:29 - Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

FYI / A TAKE AWAY :

Family, please read these prayers. They may be long but very important and necessary. Prayer is our weapon and the enemy knows it.  For nothing matters more than prayer to start your day by acknowledging GOD for being the answer to every situation and to go before us before we even turn the lock to go outside the door into into the enemies camp. We have to put on the whole armor of GOD so take five minutes to give God some time to speak to your heart and your mind and to direct your path. He said to acknowledge him in all your ways he shall direct our path, seek his righteousness and all these things will be added to your life. Family, we are in a war, a fight for our lives, our family, our health and so many other things so prayer is very necessary in this season.

I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know that she’s in a better place. I thank you for the time that you gifted us with her and her life to share with us and we thank you GOD for it. Father, we also want to add Carlos to the prayer list and Auntie Debbie and family. Father  I also lift up my sister in Christ, Rhonda and her family. Strengthen her LORD. Father I lift up Pastor Marceita and my church family. I would like you to move on my brother's behalf and heal him from any sign of cancer that he has been diagnosed with. I want to lift up Wendy Williams, the talk show host. You are a healer. Please guide us on the right path with clear direction. MY REFLECTION:

Father as we enter into this season and this New Year and celebrating Christmas, I know that JESUS is the reason for the season . It's not about Christmas trees or gifts but it’s about JESUS. Some of us are running around trying to find gifts to make people happy while spending all their money.  It's not even about the gift or things, it’s about the gift of life, love and family. That was shown by God through his son JESUS Christ. Let's not forget the real reason we are celebrating Christmas. It’s about family and togetherness and just coming together being thankful for life and sharing memories, reflecting on old times and just watching movies together and laughter. It's about loving on each other. Just having fun.  Christmas is almost upon us in a few days. It is at this time of the year that we should honor the incarnation of Christ. The day that Christ, God the Son, the Second person of the Trinity came down to earth to be wrapped in flesh. Whether December 25 is or not the actual date that Christ was born is debatable and altogether a non-issue. We choose to celebrate on this day. A day that we set aside to honor our LORD – and that alone is reason to worship Him, celebrate life and love that He has given to us. This Christmas is not about the presents, not the cards or carols, but the humble hearts that receives the wondrous gift of Christ and His gift of mercy, grace, peace and agape love. Father, I know that you are the reason for the season. Not the tree or the gifts underneath the tree, but the giver of life.

“Loving GOD helps us remember the birth of JESUS and that we may share in the song of the angels, of his birth and the gladness of the shepherd , and the worshipping of the KING .”And Christmas should be a day when our minds go back to the birth of Christ and not the noise of our materialistic world and the purchase of things that are materialistic. But to remember that JESUS is the reason for the season.

God became a real man, had a real birth, and had a real, physical body. This is an essential point of the Christian faith. Father, I thank you that JESUS is the reason and for that I thank you and praise you for Him. Its in JESUS name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½ Amen.

SCRIPTURE:

MATTHEW 2 11:12

When they entered the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary. So they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

I pray this new variant of Covid.  Father, we still lift up the Daystar family and the loss of brother Marcus from Daystar Christian tv network. We lift up his wife, Joni, because the lost of a spouse is heart breaking. LORD, comfort her in this time of loss. We still lift up Nick Cannon in the loss of his son, and to strengthen the family in their time of loss. Father GOD, we also pray for the shooting at the schools. Father protect our kids while away at school.  I ask for special prayer for my family in the loss of my Aunt. Strengthen us in this time of lost. MY REFLECTION:

Father, this morning, I just come saying thanks for loving me and help me through some very hard and difficult times. Life gets hard at times and keeping peace seems harder. But as I stated last week, our peace is very important. In the world system you can’t disturb the peace so why in the spiritual world do people think they can disturb our peace and our spirits and try to do damage to our spirits and souls? Father, thanks for protecting me and my peace of mind. Father, we need peace in our homes, work places, schools, churches, our families and our relationships. Father GOD, may your peace visit our household today. Help us to set schedules and assignments for today that your spirit be with us each minute as we go through our routines and daily agendas. May you be with us and give us the peace that passes all understanding as we encounter each other today. Whether in conversation, working or just meeting someone for breakfast, dinner or lunch. Whatever it may be.  May you be with us and have your peace to go before us. May you be with us every where we go. Let your peace be with us. Help us to protect our peace. We know that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He comes to steal our peace. He comes to destroy our peace. He comes to take our peace and he’ll use anything, anyone or anybody to do so. LORD, you have taught me that finding peace requires me to seek it out by looking for it and pursuing it peaceful places, peaceful ways  and peaceful relationships. If I make a living in peace a priority, I won’t miss it. And even when storms come my way, I will know where to find the peace, rest and calmness in my spirit. Your word so often pairs righteousness and peace. To live uprightly is to live in peace. HELP me LORD to choose what is right and true and good today. As I seek to live in your peace, help me, my love ones and friends to protect our peace from peace breakers and peace stealers. May each one of our family members acknowledge your presence and feel your loving hand and your perfect rest in your peace today and the rest of this week and into the new year and season. It’s in JESUS name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½ Amen.

MY REFLECTION:

Father, I have really been thinking all yesterday, yesterday evening, early this morning and really couldn’t sleep just thinking about how we are not really walking in love and we use that word so casually. And also about how you love us and how you require us to love others. We just keep getting it wrong. No matter how many times we hear, read, have been told or preached to about it. We keep missing how we need to walk it like we talk it. Love is an action word. So many of us use the word lightly. We want so much from you but not willing to follow simple directions.  We are not willing to give the same type of love and reciprocity that you called us to. Father, you said in the word there’s no greater love than a man has than to lay down his life for his brother or sister or neighbor. You called us to do just that. I mean who do we think we are to question GOD or change your commandments. In the commandments you said the greatest among these is to love. We’re missing it. We’re getting it all wrong. The word said how can we say that we love GOD who we have never seen but we hate and dislike our own brothers and sisters who we see and come in contact with ever day? What is this spirit that we are operating in? Help us LORD to walk it like we talk it and not just be a hearer of the word but a doer. WALK IT LIKE YOU TALK IT! Father, I thank you in the mighty name of JESUS for wisdom to see that we are not truly waking in love. It's in JESUS name I pray, πŸ™πŸ½ Amen .

SCRIPTURE:

JAMES 1:25

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

' This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
