Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.


MORNING PRAYER:

Lord, Thank you for waking us up this Thursday Morning. What a blessing it is to see another day. Thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. I’m thankful that I have a Father that has me covered. No matter what, we win with you. Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace in our lives even through the toughest of times and strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough, trust you for who you are and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks. For You alone are worthy. Father, thank you for your Almighty Power. Thank you that you go before us today. God, thank you for being a restorer. Thank you GOD for being a healer, our provider, our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I  ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence that they get help to get out of a toxic and dangerous situation. I pray for those with any addictions to be set free from a call dependency or seeking for a temporary solution. I pray for those fighting the war, our soldiers. I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It’s in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections: 

Father, thank you for helping me to learn how to hold my peace and be slow to speak and quick to listen. In knowing when to hold my peace and how to put a guard my mouth, I have truly learned that the fruit of my lips can do so much damage, but with the same lips, they can bring so much love, peace and healing. JESUS,  please forgive me for not recognizing the power of my tongue. The power it holds can literally allow me to speak to a thing and it happens, good or bad. I realize that the words I put in the atmosphere matter and they definitely can affect my life. It has the power to build up or tear down. This little thing in my mouth can move mountains. That alone still amazes me. Father, I’m asking you to please help me to keep my tongue. I'm asking that You remove any negativity from my being, from my mind, my heart and my mouth. Fill my heart and mind with heavenly thoughts that flow from my mouth that I will only speak life. Allow this mouth to be used for building up, praising and speaking love not war. Now Father, you know me and I know that my mouth is a lethal weapon. I really realize that I can say something to actually kill someone’s spirit and tear someone down. That’s why your word tells us that there is death and life in the power of the tongue. What you say can cause a  change in someone’s life. Father, I want to speak life into everything I encounter or come in contact with. I’m here to do kingdom building and I accept my assignment. I understand the mission and the mandate which is to build up and speak life and bring light to darkness.  Father, no longer will the words "I can't", "I won't" or “maybe”  come out my mouth. I will not allow it to be spoken in my ear gates into my spirit. I’m here to serve notice on the enemies that they will not control my mind which causes me to speak non profitable words. I have the mind of Christ, the Anointed one, and He is all powerful, so I got this. So those words will not exist in my speech unless I'm rebuking the enemy. I believe in the power of Your word and I shall walk in power of "yes and Amen". I believe I receive!

A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.

It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.

James 3:10 
From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

Footnote: 

Every time one of us spreads positivity, it becomes contagious, so hold that tongue. Everything doesn’t call for a response or reply.  

I'm choosing a path that bears good, Godly fruit in all circumstances and situations. I give You permission to use me as a light. I'm here to be used to uplift others and shake the devil off!

Reflections: 

Father, I wonder sometimes why I have to endure hard trials, challenges and tests in my walk with you? And why does it seem like the ones that don’t serve You or believe in You are getting off scot free? As I mature in my faith and grow more in you, I realize that my understanding doesn't compare to what You've already planned to reveal in my life and how you rearrange things to work for my good. No matter what trap the enemy tries to set , it won’t work because I now understand my assignment and I know I’m anointed for this. You present me with heavy assignments because You designed a unique and heavy crown for me to wear.

You care about my success so much that You put me through critical situations to ensure that I will know what to do when I get what I'm asking for and that I will know how to handle it, to protect my anointing. I thank You for the BIG challenges that prepare me to sustain the BIG victories. You are awesome and your love never-fails! I love you Lord! I truly appreciate Your love and trust in me with an assignment to be used as a vessel. I thank you God.

Reflections: 

Father, I’m so amazed how much you continuously love and trust us. I love when someone trusts me to get a task done. The belief in what I can do shows the love, support and faith they have in me. Even through my shortcomings, I'm still trusted by you, but it breaks my heart now to know I haven’t offered You the same trust. Lord, You have an undefeated record, yet I still worry or doubt.

I have to check myself and realize the worry is not of You or from You. It’s from the enemy to get me off track and lose focus. Your word  tells us that you don’t give us a Spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. With full assurance that you have my back, You are all about faith and trust. All I need is faith the size of a mustard seed! As of now, I'm choosing to have faith and trust you all the way. I’m riding with you on everything from this day forward, JESUS.  My faith confirms that my prayers are not in vain, This too shall pass and You will deliver and keep me through all the trails I face. I know no matter what, I can count on you. I’m so grateful, for your unconditional love.

And He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

No matter what, we win with you. Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace in our lives even through the toughest of times, strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your great love and care. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Thank you for your incredible sacrifice so that we might have freedom in this life. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough, trust you for who you are, what you can do, for all that you do and for all that you've given us. Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you. Father, I thank you for showing me all week that you got my back and that I can truly cast all my cares on you. You are the champion of all. You win every battle. Lord, thank you for always being about Your word! Thank you for showing up on my behalf every time. Even when I don’t see away, you always make away. How amazing you are. Not only do You make all things possible, You allow a broken vessel like me to experience a love like no other. You fight for me so hard. Even when I feel like giving up. You allow me the blessing of experiencing Your miracles over and over again. I'm so grateful there's no shortage of blessings flowing from Your hands!

You have the power to bless every one of Your children. Even if our requests are new and unknown to people around us, You will use it to be a testimony and for victory. Thank you for being bold in all Your ways! Use me to build up people to believe in You, the way I do and to experience your power of your amazing grace. Use me so my life can be a walking showcase of Your glory. I'm ready and willing to serve You more, GOD. You are amazing and my king. My everything! I praise You for holding the undefeated record of all battles. Keep doing all You do! It’s in  JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections: 

Father, thank you for reminding me that My sacrifice is not in vain!

In my weakness, You are my strength, And you give me what I need to press my way. Father GOD, You are working it out for my good and building my faith and my relationship with you. But sometimes the suffering I experience or have experienced made me realize that it was is a necessary thorn. You said in you word it was good that you afflicted me. It made me strong and equipped me for the test. I thank you for making me draw closer to You while You reveal what needs work within me. Lord, I praise You for revealing what I need to surrender to You. I need You to keep me in Your perfect will. I'm grateful for my storm, the trails and tests. I know You are doing a work that's beyond my understanding. I'm ready & willing to move when You say move even if my body doesn't feel ready. I will surrender my will  to your will. I know eyes have not seen and ears have not heard what You have planned for me. Thank you for suffering for me. JESUS, I'm committed to enduring whatever your assignment is for me. It’s in the precious name of JESUS I pray, Amen.

Reflections: 

Father, I thank you for opening up my eyes to see my past and my current situations. JESUS, thank you for making it easy to believe! All You ask of me is to have a mustard seed of faith. As long as I have an ounce of faith, I can count on You to deliver right now. I need You to reassure me that I can live out my vision. Sometimes I frighten myself when I think of the possibility that will happen the way You've revealed it to me. I know that is a tactic of the devil to stop me from taking action and to walk in fear and stop believing I will receive everything you promised if I keep believing and trusting the process. I no longer want to give him the power to control my actions, mess with thoughts and my mood.  I will not let it effect me any more. You've placed a seed in me and I need to sow the dream if I want to reap the reality.  Show me how to stand still. Slow me down and help me understand that one step each day gets me closer to another day which is another chance to get it right with you. I'm ready to follow Your instructions with passion, zeal and all the fervor I have. I'm keeping the faith.

COURAGE

These troubles, trials and testings come to prove that your faith is pure [to test and prove the authenticity of your faith; a test that proves the genuineness of a valuable metal]. This purity of faith or tested and proven authenticity is worth more valuable than gold, which can be proved to be pure tested and proven authentic by fire. Psalms 66:10; Prov. 17:3; "..but can or will be destroyed. But the purity tested and proven authenticity of your faith will bring you praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is shown to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

Reflections: 

Father God, as much as I don’t want to go through the fire, on the other side of the smoke, I see how You worked it out for my good. That givew me the courage and faith to keep pushing on. 

The same fire that was intended to burn me and take me out was used to birth a fire in me that can’t be put out, to believe you for the unexplainable and the impossible. Walking in the unknown was another level of faith and trust for me to step out in a new place and try new things. Going through so much in these past two years with the pandemic with all the life’s lost, all the betrayal, losing the business has showed me who is really for me and who is not for me. You have open my eyes to another level of insight and I'm still growing in you. I'm learning another level of faith every day. I praise You for showing up in my life right when the fire felt like it would take me out. You stirred up contagious courage that can’t be removed. I have courage to share my testimony, to stand on your Word and to claim the victory. By Your Spirit, I’ve been able to grow through the fire and still be standing. I thank You for continuing to show up and protect me even from myself. I’m so blessed and favored because you covering me is what You do best.  I know I’m protected before and after I have been tried because I know I will come out winning every time. Father I pray from this day forward that you Free Me Lord. Free me from the dependability I have when it comes to money, people, things going my way, or relationships. I no longer want to have anything that’s not from You. Place on my heart to accept when You are taking control of my life and teach me how to receive my joy from the love, healing, and peace You give me. You have promised to never leave me nor fail me. I believe every word You said. You’ve kept every promise since the creation of time and Your word or promises never change. Make me dependent on You and You alone. I have seen time and time again that the hands of man can fail you every time. I have learned in these time of the pandemic not to trust in the world system, nor people, nor things, not a job, a spouse. Nothing or no one will separate me from the Love of GOD and  my walk with you. Today, I choose to sow appreciation, gratitude, peace, love, joy, commitment, self-control, discipline, honor and respect. I will let it multiple and overflow! Father,  I thank you for letting me see that you never change, even when people do, you don’t. In a world that is ever-changing, You remain unchangeable. It seems as if every second of the da, something is changing! We get older, our bodies change, our opinions change, our goals change, relationship change and circumstances change, yet your Word still remains steadfast and true! And it never changes. Thank you for being our peace and our calmness in a hectic world and through all the hectic situations we face in life. You never change your love, your peace, your protection, or your word. You remain the same. You never change. How amazing to have you to have my back like that. You are truly the best foundation any of us can attach ourselves to. JESUS, I pray You remind me to run to You and Your Word when I'm confused and when situations get overwhelming and too hard or heavy to deal wit . Give us discernment and wisdom, Father. Please direct us to Your truth instead of what the world tells us. Strengthen each of us to hold on close to You. To build our faith in You and you alone! Reflections: 

Father, today I have decided to surrender all to you. I’m going let you do it. Father, sometimes I wonder why some times I say I will do things and they won't happen as I planned. Then later, I realize that I have allowed other people's problems to distract me or take me off my game. 

I can make a goal or a to-do list and not accomplish what I set out to do because I now see that the enemy will use anything or anyone to distract me. I'm realizing why it's been hard. The first mistake I made was making their issue my own. I know I have to surrender my will over to your will and your purpose for my life and for my daily tasks. The truth is, you make all things happen and all things work when we follow your plan and not ours or allow people to take us off our path. I must learn to stay at Your feet and seek You. No matter what, when I pray, seek you and meditate on your word, You will reveal what my next step is before I decide what to do. I want to do what You have for me to do because You know what’s best for me. You said in your word that you know the plans you have for me. Once You give me the vision, it's up to me to have supernatural faith and discipline that let's You direct, guide, lead and teach me the way I need to go. Lord, you lead and I will follow.

My Reflections with GOD: 

Father, I'm asking you to prepared ME. Help me get ready for whatever life may bring my way. Prepare me beforehand. This week I’m ready to equip myself with the tools I need for the battles and the tests that I'm going to face. For the word tells us that we are Christ's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

Lord, I ask that you take over my mind and bless me with Your thoughts. Let me see things the way you see them. Let the spirit direct me but also guide my steps and control my month to know when to speak and when to hold it. I know the unworthy, wrongful and doubtful thoughts I'm hearing can be removed by You. I need You to take away the lies of the enemy making me think that I'm not good enough. Replace the past hurts and failures with Your truth. You told me I'm fearfully and wonderfully made but my mind keeps taking me back to the times I've fallen short and missed the mark. Times when I moved too fast, got my self into situations or circumstances that I shouldn’t have or involved with people I know was not on my path to get to you. 

Help me understand those moments don't define me, they refine me. I believe every lesson I endure is needed to get to the next level in you. To increase my faith and my relationship with you, Father. All things work for my good when I’m in You. I know it’s for my transformation, so You can use me as a testimony and a vessel for Your glory and kingdom to complete the assignment. I want You to finish what You've started in me and give me the wisdom and knowledge to get it done. Prepare and help me to stay ready so I don’t have to try and get ready. Prepare me father.

Reflections: 

Father GOD,  today is the day that I put all things aside in order for me to strengthen my relationship with you, my walk with you and to spend more time with you. It’s not enough to just read Your Word or to read the word but not live it. I want to live a life that reflects you and the word. I want to walk it like I talk it. I want to not just be a hearer of the word but a doer of the word. Everyday I’m witnessing more situations that reveal the need for believers that wholeheartedly believe in You. That need to use the word and the gift you given them to be a representation of you here on the earth. Lord instruct us to walk like we are a believer and a GOD chaser, living each day getting stronger, wiser and bolder. Lord God, I need to learn how to love you with my whole heart, mind and soul. Above all by putting fellowshipping, worshiping  and serving you above the pursuit of my own worldly desires and my flesh.  Lord help me not to allow my emotions to control me. The world may be content to be "lovers of pleasure more than lovers of GOD" but no child of GOD can be inwardly content while his priorities are disarranged. Help me to reorder them according to your will, Lord. All who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. All who put Christ first in their heart will, in life, experience some loss. They will lose something for doing so. When you give up something to get closer to GOD, you may have to cut off someone or something. But Paul was willing to suffer the loss of everything else for the sake of knowing Jesus Christ better and to walk with him. Father I’m willing to do the same. This was more than to simply know about Christ, it was to be in close communion with Him and to learn by experience what it means to follow Him in a world that is hostile to GOD. Paul said that "what things would be gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ JESUS  My Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win in Christ." To experience loss of the things of the world is not to be compared to the gain in Christ, the gain of wisdom, the gain of acknowledged, the gain of power or the gain of strengthening our relationship with you. To pray more, to study more, to spend time talking to you more is a gain.  Help us stay connected to you father. Strengthen our relationship with you. In this day and time we need more of you and less of the meaningless things of this world. I will not allow anything to distract me from my relationship with you. I’m chasing after you GOD with all I have within me. GOD, today I step my game up. My assignment means more then anything or anyone. It’s you and me GOD. 

Have a blessed Sunday morning family, friends and love ones. Have a blessed and prosperous week ahead and know that JESUS saves. He loves you when the world leaves you standing alone or turn there backs on you ,JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front. If you stay connected to GOD,  he got you. Trust that and remember today to strengthen your relationship with the father.
