Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

Prayer:
Father, give us this day, our daily bread and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from all evil. Help us to see all the choices we have ahead of us that can alter the direction of our lives. In this new year, We don’t want to repeat or keep traveling the same road. Give us the wisdom on how to handle situations in our lives. We ask You to empower us to let go of the painful events and heartaches that would keep us bound. Thank You for Your forgiveness that You have offered to us at such a great price. Pour it into our hearts so we can relinquish bitterness, hurts and disappointments that have no place in our lives. Please set us free to forgive those who have sinned against us and caused us pain, Open our hearts to receive Your complete forgiveness and amazing grace. You have promised to bind up our wounds and restore our soul. Create within us a clean heart and renew our spirit, Lord. Help us to relinquish our past, surrender to You our present and move to the future that You have prepared for us. I ask You to come into our hearts and make us who You have called us to be so that we might do Your will here on earth. We thank You Lord in advance. We pray that You will begin to gloriously renew our present. In JESUS name we pray, Amen . 
Reflection:
Holy Spirit, we ask that you shape and mold us into a believer that obeys the commandments and practices all the disciplines that we need to make us more wiser, more discerning and more obedient to your word. Our obedience is ever-growing. We believe the God we serve is faithful and keeps all His promises to thousand generations for those that love Him and keep His commandments. We want to experience the fullness and the faithfulness of you, Father. We know you have great things in store for us and every person that is connected to us. We are blessed beyond measure to be chosen by you simply because You love us. Show us what hinderances needs to be rebuked and removed in the spirit and in the natural. Father, let no idol be overlooked and no stronghold be ignored. We want to take full possession over everything You have for us. We refuse to let anything come between our purpose and call that is on our lives. We are reminded of the scripture that says, "let nothing or no one separate us from the Love of God." Romans 8:38-39 says, For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. So we will walk this out in every situation of our lives. Father, we can’t do life without you. Loving you with no limits.

God’s faithfulness is the one constant in the equation. He is the Rock on which we stand. Paul Silway. Faith deals with the invisible things of God. It refuses to be ruled by the physical senses. Faith is able to say, 'You can do what you like, because I know God is going to take care of me. He has promised to bless me wherever he leads me.' Remember that even when every demon in hell stands against us, the God of Abraham remains faithful to all his promises. Jesus Christ can do anything but fail his own people who trust him.
