FOR A REASON

Scripture:

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

MORNING PRAYER:

LORD, Thank you for waking us up this Saturday Morning! What a blessing it is to see another day. Another day means another chance to get it right. Thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. I'm thankful to have a father that has me covered. No matter what, We Win with you. Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace in our lives even through the toughest of times by strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough or trust you for who you are, and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father, thank you for your Almighty Power. Thank you that you go before us. Today God, thank you for being a restorer. Thank you GOD for being a healer, our provider, our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence. For them to get help to get out of toxic and dangerous situations. I pray for those with any addictions to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self medicate. I pray for those fighting the war, for our soldiers and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for Peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen

Reflections:

Father GOD, I'm so grateful that You have brought me to this moment in time and this place in the world. Sometimes I'm not sure why you have me here and not elsewhere, but I know you have me here for a reason. Help me to listen to Your Spirit,  tune out all other noises and distractions and to be focused on You and You alone so that I can be a witness for You now in the place you have me in at this moment and season. So many of us have had unfair things happen, and things in life has not turned out like some of us planned for it to or hoped it would but GOD is saying, If you "rise up out of the ashes of your fears, darkness, disbelief, He will open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing" and He is saying "I'll not only bring you out but I'll will be fight for you and be with you ever step of the way."  Father, just give me the strength to keep praying until my situation changes. Father help me to see the blessing in the storm and not  take today for granted, but instead remind me that You work in what seems mundane, and You do mighty things through small acts of kindness and love. Thank you for Your Holy Spirit who leads me and guides me in all that I do and ever where I go. When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit also comes and lives in us. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can be witnesses of Christ. We don't have to be a certain place to talk about Jesus and be a witness to Him. We can show others the love of Jesus in our own homes, to our family, in our office to our co-workers, and in the towns we live in. We are called to be a witness everywhere we go. Wherever God has you right now is where He wants you to be a witness for Him. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." Let's walk in power. We Winning.

Closing prayer: 

Have a blessed Saturday family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and He loves you. When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front if you stay connected. Remember today there's consequences to sin. But just know He got us no matter what. Whatever you do, just surrender it to the Lord and let Him work it out. Let it be what it is because no matter what, we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD , get to know Him. Try Him. He is the truth. What ever the Lord tells you to do, just do it. All we have belongs to GOD. Keep trusting GOD. Just Know this, GOD remains the same.  Know that we can count on him no matter what! It’s in JESUS name I pray, Amen.
