31 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING : DAY 7

31 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING:

DAY 7 OF PRAYER & FASTING

SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight

Morning prayer πŸ™πŸΎ

Father GOD,  I thank you for keeping us all year! This is a new day in a new year that you have given to us. I'm excited about these 31 days that we can start on a new journey, a new destiny and a new purpose in life.  I’m so grateful and thankful to God for the opportunity to increase my relationship with Him and all the possibilities that we can experience on this 31 day journey of prayer and fasting . I'm also thankful for being able to develop a closer and stronger relationship with Him. Today I sat and analyzed some things in my life and went over my vision board.  I  wrote down, in detail, the things that I wanted to see happen on my journey as I go through these 31 days of prayer, fasting and consecration. I also printed out my fasting contract so that I can detail all the things that I want to offer up to Him in order to see Him move on my behalf. I don’t know if anyone has been on a spiritual fast before but this is my 19th year of my journey of fasting and praying with GOD Guiding me. But this time I’m expecting a higher move of GOD. Signs and wonders. I'm asking  Him continuously to build me up and to strengthen me to walk with Him. I'm asking Him to take me higher in him. This year has been a very trying time. But I’m embracing this year, this new season, with great anticipation that we’re going to see a mighty move of God. I’m very excited about the move of GOD in this season. Let’s see what GOD is going to do in these 31 days of prayer πŸ™πŸ½ and fasting.

Day 7 fasting from wrong thinking:
Even as we fast from food, you also can fast from television and social media by not watching things that are not imparting spiritual growth, motivation or encouragement. We can fast from wrong thinking and wrong behaviors of smoking, drinking or whatever it may be that you have allowed be your go-to coping mechanism. But we can use this time and this month to go to God first and give up the things that we have made an idol or made our all in all. When God is our all in all but when fear comes knocking, remember this: it’s not welcomed. You didn't invite it. You don't have to listen to it. Ultimately, all fear is a sense of God’s absence or separation. By contrast, a sense of God’s presence delivers us from fear. You are in His presence now—therefore, fear not! Shut the door on fear, open the door to God’s presence. Peace will flow! No matter what, keep seeking him with no fear . Today we are fasting from the thought that says, "It’s impossible." JESUS said, "All things are possible to him who believes." What is in your life today that you have given up on or considered impossible? Whatever it is (provided it’s legal!), don’t ever give up. Never, never, never give up. If a man can rise from the dead, anything is possible! So today, let’s fast from the thought that says, "It’s impossible."STOP TALKING ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND START TALKING TO IT. Don’t allow your thoughts to get the best of you! Cast down every thought and imagination that goes against the word of God. Jesus said, "If you shall say to this mountain, be removed and cast into the sea, and do not doubt . . . it shall obey you." Use your mouth to move the problem out of the way. I believe that God will give me the interpretation to life’s problems and that He will bless you with wisdom and answers. I believe there is a solution to every problem because I have the mind of Christ. I welcome the Holy Spirit to pray through me and bring God’s will and solutions to my life and to the lives of those around me, in JESUS Name!

Testimony: "l was bound up mentally with panic attacks, stress, fear, worry, and depression. It was affecting my health, but now I have freedom for the first time in my life. I am so thankful our Heavenly Father led me to you and this fast and prayer devotional on this fast for the month of January. I feel alive — what an awesome feeling. I thank God every day for the work He is doing through you and ministry to help others." Caroly
