DAY 3 OF PRAYER & FASTING 

SCRIPTURE: DANIEL:10:3

I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.

PRAYER STARTER: 

Father God I thank you , for keep us all year , The New Year can often bring a mixed bag of emotions and memories for many of us. The events of 2022 including an ongoing killings the racial tensions, Covid kept returning its ugly head , joblessness, and financial hardship, political changes created an unprecedented time of unrest and anxiety. Along with so many are upset , stress out , turn to drugs, alcohol, men, or women, and God knows what else just to have a temporary solution or outlet to relieve their stress , when after the dusk pass the problem still there and actually is worst . Cause you created another problem for real , While some may have just experienced the best year ever and look forward to an even greater one looming ahead, others may have just trudged through one deep struggle after another. The fresh calendar year brings desperate hope for things to be better, with an ache for the still-fresh wounds to slowly begin their process of healing. Praying at the start of the New Year doesn't always bring immediate change at the stroke of midnight, but it begins the opening of our hearts to God's Words of hope and peace and trusting GOD no matter what . Im excited about this 31 days of praying and fasting .that we can start on a new journey a new destiny a new purpose in life .  This is the 3 day on fast . I’m so grateful and thankful to GOD for this . opportunities to increase my relationship with him . all the possibility that we can experience on this 31 days of a journey of prayer and fasting . And developing a closer and stronger relationship with you.  I have great expectations to see all that’s going to happen  on my journey as I go through this 31 days of prayer and fasting and consecration. I also printed out my fasting contract.  So that I can get detail in the things that I want to offer up to God to see him move on my behalf. I don’t know if anyone has been on a spiritual fast before but this is my  18 th year of my journey of fasting and praying with GOD Guiding me . But 2023 I’m expecting a higher move of GOD , And signs  and wonders . Asking  him to continuously to build me up to strengthen me to walk with me . To take me higher in him . This year has been a very trying time. But I’m embracing this year this new season , this new year with great anticipation that we’re going to see a mighty move of God I’m very excited about the move of GOD in this season . Let’s see what GOD is going to do in this 31 days of prayer 🙏🏽 and fasting .

UNDERSTANDING PRAYER AND FASTING: as a ministry:  Anna the prophetess, Luke 2: 37. Here we find an 80 years old Prophetess and a widow, SERVING GOD with fasting and prayer, night and day. No wonder that such consecrated life was greatly rewarded, as she knew of the Jesus child and the redemption of Israel. It is evident that elderly people are well able to fast and pray without physical harm and thus obtaining better health and add several good quality years to their entire lifetime.

 

Receiving the gifts of the Spirit. Dan. 6:23-24 and Dan.9: 22-23. As a direct result of fasting, very often one receives one or several of the nine gifts of the Spirit. During a fast and after a period of fasting the gifts of the Spirit will operate much easier. Think of Daniel. He was in fasting often. He experienced visions and dreams and mighty miracles took place in his Life Subduing the flesh. King over the flesh.If we do not master the flesh the flesh will master us. Fasting is a “Blitzkrieg” set for the subjugation of the flesh. There is no more rapid, or effective way to win the war against the flesh.Fasting will greatly aid in the “crucifying of the flesh” Romans 6:6 …that our old man is crucified with Him. While this great warfare goes on, there is a great turmoil within the soul because the soul is the battleground between the FLESH AND THE SPIRIT. Galatians 5:17 for the flesh lusteth against the Spirit and these are contrary to one to the other, so ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5:19-25 Now THE WORKS OF THE FLESH are manifest, which are these: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, v.20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, v.21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like…. They that do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. V.22 but THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, v.23 meekness, temperance… v.24 And they that are Christ’s have CRUCIFIED THE FLESH with the affections and lusts. V.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.The easiest way to conquer the flesh is by fasting! The fruits of the Spirit will come forth. Really, it’s a glorious feeling during the fast and even after the fast, the wonderful feeling that you are the one in command over the flesh.

FASTING CURES MANY DESEASES: 

 THE TOBACCO, ALCOHOLIC, AND DOPE HABIT CURE.

FASTING PURIFIES THE BLOOD.

    a) Fasting drives out anemia.

    b) Fasting is the best blood cleansing method ever known.    

     c) Fasting cleanses the arteries from inside.

    d) Fasting cures leaky veins and heals the vein pump of dysfunction.

    e) Fast sharpens the senses, rejuvenates the whole body.

    f) Fasting many days can cure many diseases.

   g) Fasting prevents cancer

SCRIPTURE: EZRA8:23 

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.

CLOSING PRAYER:

I’m praying for a move of GOD for all my family, friends, and love ones . Lord, At the start of each day, help us to recognize you above all else. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts that we might see you and notice how you're at work through our lives. Give us wisdom to make the best choices, fill us with a desire to seek after you more than anything else in this world. Let your Spirit and power breathe in us, through us, again, fresh and new. Thank you that you are greater than anything we may face in our day. Thank you that your presence goes with us and that your joy is never dependent on our circumstances, but it is our true and lasting strength, no matter what we're up against. We ask that your peace lead us, that it would guard our hearts and minds in you. We ask for your grace to cover our lives this day. We love you Lord...we need you for everything Father Im praying for your spirit to be with us and let us experience you like never before and it’s in JESUS name I pray 🙏🏽 Amen
