Resist the Devil!

WORDS OF WISDOM:

RESIST THE DEVIL 

Scripture: 

James 4:7 

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:8 

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

1 Corinthians 10:13 

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

MORNING PRAYER:

LORD, Thank you for waking us up this Sunday Morning. What a blessing it is to see another day. Another day means another chance to get it right. Thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. I'm thankful I have a Father that has me covered. No matter what, we win with you. Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace in our lives even through the toughest of times by strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough or trust you for who you are and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father thank you for your almighty power. Thank you that you go before us today. God, thank you for being a restorer. Thank you GOD for being a healer,  our provider, our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today so we may see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence. For them to get help to get out of a toxic and dangerous situations. I pray for those with any addictions to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self medicate. I pray for those fighting the war, our soldiers and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. J pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections:

Father GOD, thank you for giving the strength to resist my own temptations and the temptations that the enemy tries to place before my eyes to make it seem pleasurable. I know what the end result will be. Thank you for giving me the sermon to be able to see the parts and the tricks and the plans that he put before me. You said in your word to resist the devil and he will flea. Father, mold me to resist my old ways and habits. Thank you Father for new opportunities to start fresh! When I pray, allow me to see it, believe it, receive it and know that You will put things in order to help me step into my destiny. Direct me to reflect and study Your word that I may see the ways the enemy will come in and try to distract me and keep me in darkness with meaningless things . Father, keep me aware and give me wisdom in order to walk in accordance with You. No matter what it takes, I will work to be who You've called me to be. Allow me to let go of the past and to resist the temptations and the desire of the flesh. God, thank you that I understand that my past is who I used to be, not who You're molding me to be or who you created me to be. Help me trust the process and be patient because You are in control and have my best interests in mind. I realize that what's in front of me is bigger than what's behind me. I will continue to give You all the praise through everything,  I will keep pressing and walking in the faith of my Lord and Savior JESUS.  I love you so much, I got this. We got this. We going all in. Nothing can stop us. We Winning!

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Closing prayer: 

Have a blessed Sunday family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and He loves you. When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front if you stay connected. Remember today to resist the temptations of the enemy. Whatever that may be, whatever thought, whatever desire he tries to plant in your heart. Send it back and just know GOD got us no matter what.  Whatever you do, just surrender it to the Lord and let Him work it out. Let it be what it is because no matter what, we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD, get to know Him. Try Him  He is the truth. Whatever the Lord tells you to do, just do it. All we have belongs to GOD . Keep trusting GOD. Just know this, GOD remains the same.  Know that we can count on Him, no matter what! It’s in JESUS name I pray, Amen.
