DIRECTED BY GOD

Scripture:

Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

James 2:14-26 

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. ..

NIGHT PRAYER:

LORD, Thank you for this Day. We thank you for waking us up and getting us through this Saturday. What a blessing it is to see another day. Another day means another chance to get it right. Thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. I'm thankful I have a Father that has me covered. No matter what, we win with you. Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace in our lives even through the toughest of times, by strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough or trust you for who you are and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father, thank you for your Almighty Power. Thank you that you go before us today. God, thank you for being a restorer. Thank you GOD for being a healer, our provider, our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I  ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us.  Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD.  Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence. For them to get help to get out of toxic and dangerous situations. I pray for those with any addictions to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self medicate. I pray for those fighting the war, our soldiers and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections:

Father, I thank you for directing my steps. GOD, all I can say is Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! I know you have a master plan beyond every human mind. You said in your word, your ways are not like ours nor or your thoughts like ours. We can’t begin to imagine the plans you have for us. Even though I fall short, You bless me in so many ways. I wonder what will manifest if I really give it ALL to You and stop trying to control my journey and let go and let you work. I no longer will worry about money, status, success, a job, clients, relationships, or my future. Instead I will use my energy to control my thoughts and my actions to make sure what I do and say aligns with Your Word! So many of us talk the talk but not walk the walk. I don’t want to be an on and off believer. I want to be consistent and be there and be committed to my promises to you as well as to my brothers and sisters. Not one minute be on fire and the next minute I’m cold as ice. I believe supernatural miracles will unfold when I lean on Your Word above all and walk it like I talk it. I’m expecting You to show up in a mighty way when I leave it in Your hands. Thank you for having a bigger imagination than me and the power to make it work out for my good! I claim miracles on this day! 

Closing prayer: 

Have a blessed Saturday Night family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and He loves you. When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front. If you stay connected and remember tonight that what you make happen for others, GOD will make happen for you double. Show love to someone. It can be a word of encouragement, a listen ear, a hug, a helping hand or a phone call to say hello. What ever we do, do it as until the LORD. The word says "give and it will be given back unto you, press down and running over". We never know how we will reap what we sowed. We winning if we stay connected and start trusting the process and just know GOD got us no matter what. Whatever you do, just surrender it to the Lord and let Him work it out. Let it be what it is because no matter what, we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD, get to know Him! Try him! He is the truth. Whatever the Lord tells you to do, just do it. All we have belongs to GOD. Keep trusting GOD. Just know this,  GOD remains the same.  Know that we can count on Him no matter what. May the peace of GOD be with you as you lay down to sleep tonight. We ask all this in JESUS name, I pray Amen.
