WE MAKE MISTAKES

MORNING PRAYER:

LORD, Thank you for waking us up this Saturday Morning. What a blessing it is to see another day.. Thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. I’m thankful I have a father that has me covered. No matter what, we win with you. Thank you for bringing hope and peace in our lives even through the toughest of times and strengthening us for your purposes. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough, trust you for who you are and for what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father. thank you for your Almighty Power. Thank you that you go before us today. God, thank you for being a restorer. Thank you GOD for being a healer, our provider, our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence, for them to get help to get out of toxic and dangerous situations. I pray for those with any addiction to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self medicate. I pray for those fighting the war, our soldiers, and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated. I pray for Peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It’s in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections:

Father, I thank you for wisdom and maturity. I am at a place in this season of my life that I am willing to acknowledge a mistake as a lesson in humility, a powerful healing-opportunity and a life lesson. In which I can grow from and use as stepping stone. Very often we waste time, energy and readily available peace and over look the blessing in the situation because of our failure to acknowledge an error. We know that pencils have erasers. So does things and situations too that can be erased out of our lives. We know that computers allow us to cut and paste. We know that tests can be taken again, and that wrong sizes can be exchanged. Yet for some strange reason, one of our greatest challenges is admitting to ourselves and others that we have made a mistake and admit it to learn from it. But Perhaps, as children, we were spanked for breaking things, or criticized for our mistakes and shortcomings. Maybe those who raised us wanted so badly for us to be good that they left us little margin for error. Perhaps we believe that it is not safe to acknowledge or admit an error. Maybe we haven’t heard so much about human errors that we have allowed it to cause us great tragedy, hardship, heartache and heartbreaking experience that it has caused us to be afraid to say, "I made a mistake.” This simple statement is a powerful acknowledgment that there is spiritual power in human weakness. But with JESUS we have power to do all things. A mistake is a great opportunity for learning, for healing and to watch the Lord work it out for you  A mistake reminds us that no matter how old we are, how smart we believe in ourselves to be, regardless of how much we have accomplished, we are still human and imperfect. So A mistake is a lesson in humility. A mistake is the way we learn our limitations. It is a reminder that there is always more for us to learn about ourselves and our capabilities. When we grow in humility to a place where we can acknowledge, accept and admit our mistakes, we give GOD space and room to work it out and lead us back on the right path and help us complete our assignment. We must learn to grow in compassion for ourselves and others as we learn to surrender and heal from our self judgments and being hard on ourselves and others for mistakes. A Mistake is just that, A Mistake. Lets us all acknowledge that a mistake may have caused you fear, anguish, anxiety, hurt or shame. Let’s embrace your humanness. If you have made a mistake today, acknowledge it. If you have made one in the past that has had lingering effects, admit it. Be willing to acknowledge and admit that I am human enough to make mistakes but mature enough to learn from it, grow and gain Spiritual strength. With you JESUS, we overcome!

Scripture:

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 37:24

Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.

Closing prayer:

Have a blessed Saturday Morning family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and he loves you. When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front if you stay connected. Remember today that we are human and we will make Mistakes. Whatever you do, surrender it to the Lord and let him work it out. Let it be what it is because we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD, get to know Him. Try Him. He is the truth. Whatever the Lord tells you  to do, just do it All we have belongs to GOD. Keep trusting GOD. Just know this,  GOD remains the same. Know that we can count on Him no matter what! It’s in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

JESUS is my Everything
