DAY 9 OF PRAYER & FASTING: 

SCRIPTURE:

Luke 2:37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying

PRAYER STARTER: 

Father God I thank you , for keep us all year , The New Year can often bring a mixed bag of emotions and memories for many of us. The eveents of 2022 including an ongoing out breaks and the Reoccurring of COVID-19 Racial  tensions, joblessness, homelessness, list of businessses and Love ones , political unrest created an unprecedented time of unrest and anxiety stress. While some may have just experienced the best year ever and look forward to an even greater one looming ahead, others may have just trudged through one deep struggle after another. The fresh calendar year brings desperate hope for things to be better, with an ache for the still-fresh wounds to slowly begin their process of healing. Praying at the start of the New Year doesn't always bring immediate change at the stroke of midnight, but it begins the opening of our hearts to God's Words of hope and peace and trusting GOD no matter what . Im excited about this 31 days of praying and fasting .that we can start on a new journey a new destiny a new purpose in life .  This is the 9 day on fast .from certain foods and fast from wrong thinking. And some of us have inc. certain bad behaviors like smoking drinking and doing things this bad for your mental , physical and just not good for you over all , I know this Year will be a reset of all things . I’m so grateful and thankful to God for this fast a time to really get tune with GOD It’s opportunities to increase my relationship with you father . all the possibility that we can experience on this 31 days of a journey of prayer and fasting . And developing a closer and stronger relationship with you and the Wisdom and discipline that I will gain .  I have great expectations to see all that’s going to happen  on my journey as I go through this 31 days of prayer and fasting and consecration. So that I can get detail in the things that I want to offer up to God to see him move on my behalf on this journey of fasting and praying with GOD . But 2022 I’m expecting a higher move of GOD , and signs  and wonders . Asking  him to continuously to build me up to strengthen me to walk with me . To take me higher in him . This year has been a very trying time. But I’m embracing this year this new season , this new year with great anticipation that we’re going to see a mighty move of God I’m very excited about the move of GOD in this season . Let’s see what GOD is going to do in this 31 days of prayer 🙏🏽 and fasting .

Today we’re fasting from the thought that says, "What’s wrong with me?"

The constant awareness of our "falling short" is where the devil and religion wants to keep us. This keeps us defeated and hemmed in by shame, rather than liberated through our divine nature. 2 Peter 1:4 says, "Through His promises, we share in the divine nature of GOD and escape the corruption that is in the world 

WISDOM ON FASTING 

Fasting is what prepares you for a new level for the next level of announcing I’m convinced that we will never walk in the perfect will of God until we seek him and commit to fasting and praying when you present your body in this manner you open your self to hear from God you will prove and discover his good and perfect will for your life . Paul was fasting when God called him and shared the assignment for his life. Remember Peter was fasting on the rooftop when God gave him a new revelation and called him to take the gospel to the Gentiles . fast prepare the way for God to give you fresh revelation , fresh vision and clear purpose in life in the book of Joel the LORD  said it shall come to pass after word that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh your sons and daughters will prophesy , your old men will dream dreams . young men shall see visions GODS going to pour out a revival afterwords he will revealing his will for his people afterward after what ? after the fasting. Israel was in sin and GOD  was calling his people to fast and repent As a people . He told them to blow the trumpet in Zion consecrate a fast call a sacred assembly his promise to keep them. if GOD is going to pour new wine , our wineskins will have to change JESUS said no one puts new wine into a old wineskins , or else the new wine burst the wineskins and the new wine is spilled , and the wineskins is ruined. But new wine must be put into new wine. I had never seen the connection between fasting and the new wine before . But if you look at this passage .JESUS had finished telling the Pharisees that his disciples would fast once he was gone . Fasting is what prepares you for a new anointing, GOD can’t put that kind of wine in old skins if You want new wine new miracles , closeness with GOD , new ministry new intimacy with God , new ideas , new Bussinesses , new relationship, then it’s time to call a fast and shed that old skin For the NEW . Fasting  is a tremendous weapon and a source of power in the life of a believer . I have seen so many blessings in my life . That are directly attributed to the fasting and praying in my life . And there are so Amazing things in the body of Christ thats we are experiencing on the fast we are see signs and wonders so Im encourage you to keep pressing keep going and let’s see it out to the end. 

CLOSING PRAYER:

Lord, Thank you for your amazing power and work in our lives, thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. Thank you that you are able to bring hope through even the toughest of times, strengthening us for your purposes. Thank you for your great love and care. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Thank you for your incredible sacrifice so that we might have freedom and life. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough, for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you've given. Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you afresh. Renew our spirits, fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy! Amen. Father Thank you for your presence with us, thank you for your Almighty Shadow. Thank you that you go before us, and cover us from behind.  Thank you that you are in our midst and that our future is secure in the place you're preparing for us.your words bring such hope and comfort. Remind us of your strength today, may we see glimpses of your glory and blessing along the way as we seek after you. For victory and salvation are found in you alone.Father I pray for your spirit to be with us and let us experience you like never before on this fast .and it’s In the Mighty Name of JESUS name I pray 🙏🏽 Amen
