UNDERSTANDING THE PURPOSE 

SCRIPTURE: 

John 13:7

Jesus replied, You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.

Psalm 57:2 

I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” This is key in understanding God’s purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.

Definition of PURPOSE: 

The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. "The purpose of the meeting is to appoint a trustee."

That which a person sets before himself as an object to be reached or accomplished; the end or aim to which the view is directed in any plan, measure or exertion.

MORNING PRAYER:

Good Morning family, friends and loved ones. Let's take time out to thank GOD for this Thursday Morning and give thank for a beautiful day. For this is the day the Lord has made. Let’s do big things today for the Father. Pray big, praise big, think big and give big. Father, thank you for your goodness, for your blessings over us and for watching over us all night. We take time this morning to pray about our situations. 

Father, thank you for waking us up this Thursday Morning. We are grateful for another day. Father, another day means another chance to get it right with you. What a blessing to have a kingdom connection. I'm thankful I have a Father that has me covered. No matter what, we are winning with you.  Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace into our lives even through the toughest of times by strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough or trust you for who you are and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father, thank you for your almighty power. Thank you that you go before us  today. God, thank you for being a restorer, a healer, our provider. our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence, that they would get help to get out of a toxic and dangerous situations. I pray for those with any addiction to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self medicate. I pray for those fighting the war, our soldiers and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections:

Father GOD, I believe that You created intelligent human beings for some benevolent and glorious purpose, and if so, how glorious and benevolent it is that your purpose is in the plan of redemption! The ambition of men kind is generally directed to one of two purposes, or to both; the acquisition of wealth or of power. And it seem that they are missing it to the point that we chase it and some would kill for it. We build houses for the purpose of shelter; we labor for the purpose of subsistence. However, its hardly to be distinguished from the former; as purpose always includes the end in view. Your word tells me that every purpose is established by counsel. In Prov.20, I know that you know best Father. I know that my purpose is being predestinated according to the purpose of your Will for my life. And you worketh all things.  But at the end of the day, our choices and decisions have effect; if major consequences . Weather good or bad we sometimes labor to no purpose. Men often employ their time, talents and money for  evil purposes. What purpose is this waste? Your word clearly tells only that what we do for CHRIST will last. It’s sad that we think we can do it on our own. Father, I thank you for having an elevated view of everything that's going on now and in the future of my life.  My current view has me wondering how or when and what my purpose truly is. I think it’s one thing then I see a different things you are working out. I truly understand now that things will work out the way you planned for them to and I can’t force it. I know that You said in your word that you know the plans and purpose you created for me but those questions are turning into anxiety at times. I don't like that. My human mind is used to thinking this way but my spirit keeps telling me I'm trying to control something that's not in my power. I keep trying to put my hand on it or think I can help You out. Father I want Your peace so I can surrender the situations whole heartedly to You without fear of my present, future or past. I know you are an awesome, amazing, magnificent GOD AND YOU KNOW WHATS BEST.  I want to live in purpose and not the purpose of the world, kingdom purpose.  Help me hold tight to Your promise in John 13 when You said, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand it." In due season, it all will make more sense for me but in this present season I want to be so full of faith and trust IN YOU that I don't even concern myself with THE HOW, THE WHO, THE WHAT or THE WHEN. I just trust that you got it.  I understand my purpose more and more. Especially when I stay connected to You and Your word. Father I just want to be so focused on you and my Purpose and my assignment. No distractions. I’m WINNING! JESUS is the truth! I’m in love with my KING! #Lovingyou

Closing prayer: 

Have a blessed Wednesday family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and He loves you. When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front if you stay connected.  Remember today to get in purpose the purpose of GOD. Let’s get out of the bondage of the past and do something big today for the Kingdom of GOD!  Show love to someone. It can be a word of encouragement, a listen ear, a hug, a helping hand or a phone call to say hello. Whatever we do, do it as unto the LORD. The word says, "give and it will be given back until you, pressed down and running over". We never know how we will reap what we have sown. We winning if we stay connected and start trusting the process. Just know GOD got us no matter what. Whatever you do, just surrender it to the Lord and let Him work it out. Let it be  what it is because no matter what, we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD, get to know Him. Try Him. He is the truth. Whatever the Lord tells you to do, just do it. All we have belongs to GOD. Keep trusting GOD. Just know this, GOD remains the same.  Know that we can count on Him no matter what! May the peace of GOD be with you as you lay down to sleep tonight. I ask all this in JESUS name I pray, Amen.
