 PRAY THEN TRUST 

SCRIPTURE: 

Mark 14:32-36

Then they went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, Sit here while I pray. He took Peter, James, and John with him, and became very troubled and distressed.  He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay alert.

Jeremiah 33:3 

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Matthew 26:41 

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Ephesians 6:18 

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

Definition of Trust: 

firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

Definition of Prayer: 

a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship

MORNING PRAYER:

Good Morning family, friends and loved ones. Let's take time out to thank GOD for this Monday Morning and give thank for a beautiful day. For this is the day the Lord has made. Let’s do big things today for the Father. Pray big, praise big, think big and give big. Father, thank you for your goodness, for your blessings over us and for watching over us all night. We take time this morning to pray about our situations. 

Father, thank you for waking us up this Monday Morning. We are grateful for another day. Father, another day means another chance to get it right with you. What a blessing to have a kingdom connection. I'm thankful I have a Father that has me covered. No matter what, we are winning with you.  Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace into our lives even through the toughest of times by strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough or trust you for who you are and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father, thank you for your almighty power. Thank you that you go before us  today. God, thank you for being a restorer, a healer, our provider. our protector and our way maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence, that they would get help to get out of a toxic and dangerous situations. I pray for those with any addiction to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self medicate. I pray for those fighting the war, our soldiers and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated and for peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections:

Father GOD, thank You for showing me that there’s always something to pray about or someone to pray for. I realize that even when I’ve been blessed, it’s a time to thank You and praise you. When I'm hurting or someone is hurting, it’s a time to step in and pray for them. When I'm going through a hard time, do not understand all that's taking place or don't have the words to express how I feel,  I understand that it’s a time to call on the name of JESUS and let the Holy Spirit do its work. Let go and let GOD do His job. The power of prayer is a great tool but it starts with me and changes whatever I declare and decree in the name of JESUS . I understand now more then ever that prayer draws me closer to You and releases the power of prayer to tap into what’s inside of me and to make room for more of you and the power of your spirit. I’m grateful You know me so well and that I don’t have to dress up my prayers and use fancy words or be perfect. I can come to you and talk to You just as I am. Father GOD, please use me this week to share the gift of prayer with someone today. There is always a reason to pray and someone to prayer for.  We can talk about everything You are and the work You do when we include You and stay connected to you. As we allow you in every area of our lives to shape and mold us and pray about everything. Just as JESUS went into Gethsemane, where JESUS went to pray,  He takes Peter, James, and John a little farther. In giving them instructions to pray, He then leaves them stationed there.  JESUS  Himself goes even farther, where He throws Himself to the ground and prays to His Father.  JESUS  asks His Father to take the cup from Him, but also completely surrenders to His Father’s will.  JESUS wants what His Father wants more than anything else, more than even His own will. Just as we have a choice to go off and pray to the Father and ask Him not our will, but His will be done, will we take matters into our own hands or will we stay connected in His hand and accomplish the Father’s will  and trust the process? When we trust GOD, it proves unwavering Faith in our Father and the power of prayer. Father, I won’t block You out by holding things inside. I'm not trying to do it on my own any more. I will let You fight the battle that is in Your control. I will let do your job and I will do mine, which is staying connected by praying with out giving up, even when don’t see the results right away  Stay connected! WE WINNING!

Closing prayer: 

Have a blessed Monday family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and He loves you. When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front if you stay connected.  Remember today to pray about everything and trust the process!  Go today and do something big for the Kingdom. Show love  to someone. It can be a word of encouragement, a listen ear, a hug, a helping hand or a phone call to say hello. Whatever we do, do it as unto the LORD. The word says, "give and it will be given back until you, pressed down and running over". We never know how we will reap what we have sown. We winning if we stay connected and start trusting the process. Just know GOD got us no matter what. Whatever you do, just surrender it to the Lord and let Him work it out. Let it be  what it is because no matter what, we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD, get to know Him. Try Him. He is the truth. Whatever the Lord tells you to do, just do it. All we have belongs to GOD. Keep trusting GOD. Just know this, GOD remains the same.  Know that we can count on Him no matter what! May the peace of GOD be with you as you lay down to sleep tonight. I ask all this in JESUS name I pray, Amen.
