Forgive your Enemies!

WORDS OF WISDOM:

FORGIVE YOUR ENEMIES:

Scripture:

Matthew 6:12

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 6:14

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,

MORNING PRAYER:

LORD, thank you for waking us up this SUNDAY Morning . If the tomb is empty, anything is possible. What a blessing it is to see another day. Thank you for Your goodness and for Your blessings over us. I'm thankful I have a Father that has me covered. No matter what, We win with you. Thank you that you are able to bring hope and peace in our lives, even through the toughest of times, by strengthening us for your purpose. Thank you for your mercy and grace. Thank you that you are always with us and will never leave us. Forgive us for when we don't thank you enough or trust you for who you are and what you can do. Fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy. Father, thank you for your Almighty Power. Thank you that you go before us. Today God, thank you for being a restorer. Thank you, GOD, for being a Healer, our Provider, our Protector and our Way Maker. Remind us of your strength today. May we see glimpses of your glory and blessings along the way as we seek after you. Father, I ask that you bless those that are less fortunate than us. Heavenly Father, meet the needs of those that don’t have a place to lay their heads and for the homeless to obtain shelter. Father, I’m praying for those dealing with mental health and PTSD. Open doors LORD of deliverance and help. I pray that you touch those that are sick in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray for those that are dealing with domestic violence. For them to get help to get out of a toxic and dangerous situation. I pray for those with any addiction to be set free from a codependency or seeking for a temporary solution to self-medicate. I pray for those fighting the war. I pray for our soldiers and I pray for the Ukraine. I pray for those that are incarcerated. I pray for peace in this nation and peace in the middle east. I pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. It's in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

Reflections:

Forgiveness is about releasing, allowing, and letting go. If we can deliberately loosen our grip on a difficult memory, a hurt or offense, we can release some of the tension wrapped within and around it. When it comes to trauma, this is easier said than done, but if we even have the slightest willingness to let go, and let GOD bring healing, we can progress that much closer towards forgiveness and healing.

Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future and walk in the forgiveness that we want to be given to us when we fall short. We can’t change what has already happened. We have wounds, but we don’t always have to let ourselves sink into the darkness of despair. With careful attention and effort, we have the capability to shift how we think and react to situations that arise. How we handle it says a lot about our level of maturity and  our love walk. GOD requires us to forgive. He said, "If you have any ought against your brother or sister, you who are spiritual or stronger, go and restore such a one." We get to write our own stories. We have been through dark times, but we can choose to infuse possibility and positivity into our stories. We can use our experiences as an opportunity to share, connect, and grow. Through our words, we have the power to forgive, heal, and help each other through the process and walk in love in JESUS. Don’t wait to forgive until you feel like forgiving; you will never get there. Feelings take time to heal after the choice to forgive is made. We all have the ability to heal and forgive. Forgiveness is about taking a step back, breathing, and think before you react. Once we acknowledge that we are all human inevitably, people will hurt each other in one way or another.  I have learned that hurt people hurt people. It’s important that we learn to work with and through forgiveness. Forgiveness is simply about understanding that every one of us are both inherently good and inherently flawed. Within every hopeless situation and every seemingly hopeless person lies the possibility of transformation, total victory in JESUS. Just know that unforgiveness is a blessing blocker and we don’t want to block any blessings by operating in unforgiveness because actually, not forgiven someone hurts you more then it hurts them. They are going on about their life and we are still thinking about the offense or the hurt. I’m forgiving, no matter what! You said it JESUS, that settles it.

Scripture:

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Luke 17:3-4

Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

Closing prayer:

Have a blessed SUNDAY family, friends and loved ones. Know that JESUS saves and He loves you, When the world leaves you standing alone or turn their backs on you, JESUS is right there. He got your back, your side and front, if you stay connect. Remember today to forgive as you have been forgiving and walk in love. Love no matter what. Whatever you do, surrender it to the Lord and let Him work it out. Let it be what it is because we are covered in the blood. If you don’t know GOD, get to know Him. Try him. He is the truth. Whatever the Lord tells you to do, just do it, All we have belong to GOD. Keep trusting GOD. Just Know this, GOD remains the same. Know that we can count on Him no matter what! It’s in JESUS name I pray, Amen.

JESUS is my Everything
