Evangelist Monica Raymond began Truth Ministries Outreach & H.Y.P.E

(Helping Young People Elevate) Ministries in 2002 due to a deep hunger and passion to be obedient to God in helping His people that were going through various difficult challenges in their lives. The purpose, as an outreach Ministry, is to teach and show forth God’s word with truth, love and conviction. The mission scripture is: “And he said unto

them, Go ye into all the world,

and preach the gospel to every creature.” Matthew 15:16. She wants the Ministries to be a blessing unto the community by organizing a Street Ministry in which she will talk candidly with the people in the community to find out their needs so the Ministry can be efficient in providing them. Evangelist Raymond believes that, “people will see more of God in what you do than just what you say! We are blessed to be a blessing!” Within Truth Ministries, she discusses such topics as:

 

v Depression

v Loneliness

v Stress

v Sexuality

v Marriage

v How to pray

…and everything else God places on her heart…

Within H.Y.P.E. Ministries, she deals with all types of issues that are affection the children and Young Adults, such as:

v Sex

v Relationships

v Homosexuality

v drugs

v depression

v low self esteem

As both Ministries continue to grow, she will have special Bible Studies to cater to women, men, and children separately, once a week. These Bible Studies will mainly be discussions in which questions can be asked as people seek understanding, guidance and deliverance concerning certain situations they may be facing daily. Evangelist Monica uses her talent as a Beautician as the platform to minister to the many people that come through the

doors of her salon. While shampooing and curling her clients, she’s also ministering, encouraging, praying and standing in the gap for them and their families.

Evangelist Monica has ministered at several Youth Events in various locations. She took training classes at Liberty Bible College, The First Baptist Church of Glenarden Bible Institute as well as attended M.I.T. training classes at the Temple of Praise. She received her Doctorate Degree from Breakthrough Bible College in 2010. She is also a covenant partner with several ministries around the world. It is her desire that people know the Love and the Power of God so, in confidence, they will be able to conquer anything that they may be dealing with!
